I've done this with my slightly lowered MR2, the boom gate was broken at a slight angle to make it possible.
A guy at work in his Seven does it every other day too.

I've always wanted to do this. I'm quite tempted to find a place to try in my Alfa Spider... If I lowered the suspension or cut off the windshield I totally could make it haha

I saw this earlier and was curious as to how tall an F40 was in relation to my Miata. . . My little NB is 4 inches taller than the F40. . .

An alfa spider. Do you have a picture of it?

Ferrari f40: Height, (44.3 in)
Mazda Miata stock height:(48.6 in) in height
my car, Honda accord coupe: 56.5 inches and weight distribution: 61,39. If my accord is that unbalanced, I would hate to see what is it in our minivan with the back seats stripped out, and the V6 engine in front of the axle.
My dads gl 450: 72.8 inches high. That height is just about what my wheel base width is. lol

is there room to drop the seat lower and install a cage that's low enough?
I reckon I could get under most boom gates if I take the air out of my tyres :P

That is quite literally 'the wealth gap'

There's definitely not room to lower the seat, and if there were I wouldn't want to because then I really wouldn't fit. And I don't have a cage on it so it would just be the windshield that gets in the way... I've been tempted by stationary 18 wheeler trailers à là Fast N Furious.

Wow that really puts the height of the GT40 into perspective (40.5 in)

Still want to do this too. Unfortunately my lowered MX5 NC is still too high most of the times @ 45 inches. Guess the parking lots are quite strict with their booms around here.

I've done something similar to this at my family's shop. We have a chain across the bays to keep people from just driving in by themselves. The Miata was able to go right under it.
